Deaths, Weddings, Births, and Reunion News Clippings Found in Old Gilbert Clock

When Arthur Frank Vanek and Mona Inez Leeson wed on August 31, 1949 they linked the following family trees, [Maternal ~ Muench and Leeson] [Paternal ~ Vanek and Gremaux].

While my husband, Arthur F. Vanek, was adjusting the Gilbert clock that was Joseph and Emma Vanek's wedding gift, he found a handful of news clippings. Today I removed the wrinkles with a hot iron. I laid them, three to a page, onto letter paper and copied them.
Because of all the family data in those old clippings I decided to scan them and post them here on the Vanek ancestry blogspot, only to discover I can't add .pdf files. So I tried photographing those copies. For better readability, enlarge the copy by pressing Ctrl and the plus sign simutaneously.

Other descendants might find information in them they have been searching for.
